After this I heard what sounded like the loud voice of a huge crowd in the sky, saying:
“
And a second time they said, “Hallelujah. And her smoke goes up into the ages.” And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and bowed to God, who sits on the throne, saying, “Amen. Hallelujah.”
And a voice came from the throne saying, “Praise our God, all his servants, and those who fear him, small and great.” And I heard what sounded like the voice of a huge crowd, like the sound of rushing water and like the sound of strong thunder, saying:
“Hallelujah — because the Lord our God, the Ruler over everything, has begun to reign. Let us be glad and celebrate and give him the glory, because the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. She was allowed to dress in fine linen, bright and clean.”
The fine linen is the just acts of God’s people.
And he said to me, “Write: happy are those invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.” And I fell at his feet to bow to him. And he said to me, “Don’t do that. I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers who hold the testimony of Jesus. Bow to God — because the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
And I saw the sky opened, and there was a white horse, and the one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and he judges and makes war in fairness. His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many
And I saw the animal and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered to make war against the one sitting on the horse and against his army. And the animal was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs in its presence, by which he led off the road those who received the stamp of the animal and bowed to its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire burning with sulphur. And the rest were killed by the sword coming out of the mouth of the one sitting on the horse, and all the birds ate their fill of their flesh.
